Annie’s second birthday is just around the corner and I want to create some special treats for her to enjoy and to share with our friends. Unfortunately, I don’t have much experience in that area. Lucky for me, my friend Sarah is a sensational baker. While trying to teach me how to make peppermint bon bons, I foolishly turned the Kitchen Aid on high while it was filled with powdered sugar. This is the result. Learn from my mistake! Always add powdered sugar a bit at a time and for goodness sake, turn the mixer up slowly. I told Annie she really was made of sugar and spice. Oh yes, the bon bons are going to be amazing! Thanks Sarah!
